18+

Everyone on this page is an adult (18+). Digital twins on Candy AI are AI characters based on real adult creators; the Candy Shorts stories are fiction.

Most characters on Candy AI are invented from scratch. A small group is different: they are based on real adult creators, and the app labels them Digital Twin. On this site we call these people Candy AI creators. Knowing how a twin works, and where its limits are, saves you from expecting something it cannot give.

The person and the AI character

Each twin starts from a real person, but what you talk to is software. Candy gives the twin a name, a look based on the creator, a personality written for chat and a list of interests. Riley Reid's twin, for example, is described as warm, funny and sharper than people expect, with a soft spot for horror movies and streetwear design. Those traits come from the profile, and the replies come from the AI.

So the twin is a character, not a messaging line to the creator. Nothing you write is read by her, and nothing the twin says should be taken as her personal opinion. The same goes for Candy Shorts: those stories are fiction in which the twin plays a role.

How twins differ from fictional Candy characters

A fictional Candy character can be anything its writers imagine. A twin is anchored to a real public persona, so her profile carries facts Candy shows about the creator: what she is known as, her interests, sometimes her background. Abigail Lutz's profile mentions that she is a Division 1 gymnast. Asa Akira's mentions writing and podcasting. Mathilde Tantot's mentions a swimwear brand.

That anchor changes the conversation. You can bring up things the real creator is known for, and the character is written to sound consistent with them. With a fictional character, the backstory has no real person behind it, which gives the writers more freedom and you fewer reference points.

What you can do with a twin

Four things, mainly. First, chat by text, with a history the twin keeps so you can pick up where you left off. Second, ask for photos in the conversation. Third, start a voice call; all six twins with dedicated chat pages on this site support calls. Fourth, for six creators, watch the Candy Shorts they star in, then continue in the chat with the same twin.

There are 14 twins at the moment. Six star in shorts, 19 series in total, with Riley Reid in seven of them. The other eight, such as Jane Mautin or Ava Starz, are chat-only. The creators list has them all, and the shorts hub groups the series by star.

Photos and calls depend on the conversation you build. A twin you have been chatting with for a while, who knows your name and the topics you like, tends to answer requests in a way that fits the story so far, which is a big part of why people come back to the same creator.

What it costs

Looking around is free. Episode 1 of a creator short plays without an account, and a free account often unlocks episode 2. Paid episodes cost 30 or 50 tokens depending on the series. Chatting at length, photos and calls run on the subscription and tokens.

Candy shows subscriptions in USD: 3.99 USD per month for 12 months, 8.99 USD per month for 3 months, or 9.99 USD for the first month then 13.99 USD. See Candy AI pricing for the full breakdown and the free guide for what you can do without paying.

Honest expectations

A twin is good at staying in character, keeping a light conversation going and reacting to the topics on its profile. It is less reliable at memory over very long chats, it can repeat itself, and it will not know about anything the real creator did recently unless Candy updates the profile.

It also follows Candy AI's rules, so some requests get declined or redirected. Expect a well written character with a familiar face, not a relationship with the person. FAQ

Is a Candy AI digital twin the real person?

No. It is an AI character based on a real adult creator. The creator does not read or write the messages.

Do all Candy AI creators have shorts?

No. Six of the 14 star in Candy Shorts; the other eight are chat-only for now.

Can a twin remember me between sessions?

Yes, the chat keeps your history. Over very long conversations some details can slip, and a short reminder helps.
